For our own sanity- we've standardized our ring sizes on the American standard. In the United States, ring sizes are measured numerically, typically ranging from 3 to 13.5 for adults, including half sizes. Men's rings typically range from sizes 8 (18.2 mm) to 14 (23 mm).

The average ring size for men generally is between 10 and 11.

Obtaining an accurate measurement of your ring size can be achieved with the help of a ring size chart or even a simple piece of string. Before placing an order for a ring, take the time to familiarize yourself with these straightforward guidelines on measuring your ring size at home.


A Piece of String

  • Wrap a piece of floss or string around the base of your finger.
  • Use a pen to mark the point where the string overlaps.
  • Using a ruler or measuring tape, straighten the string and measure its length in millimeters.
  • Compare your measurement to the standard ring sizes on the ring size chart provided below.

Important Note:
Avoid pulling the string too tightly as it may stretch, leading to a larger measurement, which could result in purchasing rings too big for your finger.
